2005 Acura RSX Base Coupe 2-Door Description

Up for grabs is a 2005 Acura RSX Base model. At the time of this listing it has172,650 miles on it. The car is still being driven around town once a week so it is not just sitting there. The car has a silver exterior and a black fabric interior. I have posted a lot of pictures up but I do have many more if needed. The car does have issues, I would say its best use is for around town, or a project car.
Car averages around 23-25 MPG.
As you can see by the pictures there is some paint issues on the driver side door. On the passenger side there is some white paint from getting slid against in a parking lot. The rear also has some marks from getting tapped at 5 mph in the snow. There is NO frame damage to the car and that was the only accident the car was ever in.
The headlights have been replaced from the stock. The tail lights have been smoked out. The radiator and thermostat were both replaced less that 100 miles ago. The battery is 2 years old. Everyone says their oil has been changed every 3-3500 miles, I can prove it. I have every single service record on the car since getting it from the dealer around 24K miles in 2008. I can show them to you in person, however because there are so many account and credit card information on the receipts they will not pass hands in this transaction.
All power functions work, windows, sunroof, all lighting works interior and exterior.
There is a pioneer HD radio installed. All 4 speakers have been upgraded. The car is wired up to be connected to a 4 channel amp for the speakers and an amp for subwoofers. As you can see in the pictures the subwoofers and amps have been removed so currently there is no sound coming from the car. You would need to get them and install them, however all the wiring is there and can be spliced to it. Under the hood the main power line was left and taped off, simple splice and connect job.
The tires have wear on them. There are two additional tires and a donut in the back. Both of the tires in the back have nails, I do believe they can be plugged, not sure on the life on them but it was cheaper to buy 4 tires then 2 the last time I replaced them. The suspension could absolutely use to be replaced, its the original suspension so the car is a bit bumpy and causes uneven wear on the tires.
The transmission has some issues, it no longer goes into 5th gear, it doesn't do it automatically and when using the sport shifter to go try to go into 5th gear, that does not work either. Hence why it is only driven locally as to not run the RMP's up. I haven't taken it anywhere to figure out why.
From being driven so long the carpet is worn through on the driver side by the gas petal. Although that floor mat was replaced I do have all the original RSX floor mats. (Driver side damaged.) There are stains and some burns in the car as well. The leather on the steering wheel is ripping apart.
The hood has some indentations on it from being sat on.
All in all the car has been used its entire life. Its not mint by any means. I feel I have listed the description as accurately as I can, like I said its a great car for just getting around town or if you want to turn it into a project car at the end of the day its still a RSX.
