1998 Acura CL 2.3 Description

Car is not running. Was running smooth until i ruinedmy car by accident with a code scanner....the check engine light came on andI ran the codes with a generic code scanner..... There was 2. They said map sensor and crank position sensor. i had them both replaced (another $400, not a part of the receipts) .. after that i figured id clear the codes to get the CEL off and thats when it all went downhill...it would never start after that.....i have triedeverything that i know to do humanly possible to get it started but it's over now. it's honestly a big loss too me deep down since it's been taken care of like a dream on the maintenance side.... now im just selling this AS-IS...for a Hondatech or a good mechanic or if your really into performance one of those "tuner guys" if you know what i mean..all i know is there's people out there a lot smarter then me and since the engine isnt locked up and the auto transmission is basicallynew this has to be perfect for someone..i mean the engine and car has always been kept up to maintenancewith oil and all the services... i have about $800 alone in receiptsthat i could find in the glove compartment and that dosent include the $1000 transmission that was put in about 5 month's ago or the two sensors i just had replaced....... the car wont start now so im forced to sell it..i cant spend anymore cash on it..... theheat was very hot and a/c was very cold in the summer...the car is pretty dirty itself inside since i used it delivering pizza and running errounds but dosent smell bad or anything like that..i had a few spills here and there too say the least but i always cleaned them up....i mean it was excellent on gas and never gave us problems so we even put a brand new transmissionin it and it was super smooth....it defiantlyseems like an electricalor ecu issue.....someone said they would think the orig. ecu has to be re-programmed but im not going to be the one to try that. .....new transmissionor not i cant spend anymoremoney on this car..so my loss, your gain.....the engine & trans are perfect and they should be ripped out of this car and put in a car you love or maybe you want to do a "swap"? I mean it is VTEC....no one knows how smooth this thing idledor shifted...i know about cars and this was a nice one.... i cant believewhat happenedwhen we "cleared codes" whilethe car was running.. it shut it rite off and never ever turned back on... i trieda brand new batteryand all....but i took the battery back since that wasent the problem ....the originalreason i checked the codes is because the check engine light came on and it wouldn't go past 70mph on the highway or rev past 3000RPM's as it was in "limp mode" or something like that....anyway, bids start at $650 for someone who wants a project or good mechanical oem honda parts and you can take it from there!
