The Acura NSX is back to challenge the supercar segment. The NSX was engineered to be the perfect balance of power and handling, form and function, sport and luxury. Performance aesthetics are woven into the NSX from the wheels up, culminating in an architectural roofline that's both aerodynamic and visually provocative. The NSX merges a heritage of racing with the technology of today's motorsports, clearly reflected in the select use of carbon fiber: light and strong with a sleek, distinctive appearance. The Carbon Fiber NSX Exterior Sports Package dresses key aerodynamic points in carbon fiber for track-inspired styling and reduced weight. The NSX is powered by a Sport Hybrid SH-AWD Power Unit which means the front wheels are mechanically independent from the rear power unit components and are powered by two electric motors while the rear wheels are powered by a mid-mounted Twin-turbocharged V6 gasoline engine with one Direct Drive Motor and a 9-speed DCT. The system allows for a maximum total of 573hp and 476lb-ft. of torque with an approx. top speed of 191mph. The integrated dynamics system allows you to select between 4 driving modes including quiet, sport, sport plus, and track. The NSX cockpit was designed with intelligent technology, kinetic ergonomics and unlimited opportunity for exhilaration. The shape of the steering wheel is slightly flattened at the top and bottom which opens an unobstructed sightline and increased legroom, while carved depressions at 10:00/2:00 and 9:00/3:00 provide both easy grip and immediate access to the paddle shifters. In the Sport Package, the leather-wrapped wheel is accented with carbon fiber. The NSX Technology Package includes the 580 watt nine speaker ELS Studio Premium Audio system, AcuraLink The Next Generation, Navigation, and sonar-based proximity sensors.
