1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Description
Layla is a stunning head-turner with massive appeal. This collector maintained Roadster, stored in a climate controlled facility, boasts beautiful concourse quality and superior comfort. Let the wind flow through your sails as you cruise with the top down and become one with the road. Meticulously maintained, this is a rare opportunity to purchase a red/tan Spider with five-speed transmission, as a completely unscathed, ultra low mile ORIGINAL example.
The vehicle comes with a complete service record, jack, original books and records.
1993 was the last year of the rear-wheel drive Alfa Romeo before the 8C Competizione of 2007. The Series 4 Spider (1990-1993) saw the removal of the front under-bumper spoiler and rear trunk-lid spoiler and picked up 164-style rear lights stretching across the width of the car. Power steering, larger knee bolsters and a driver-side airbag also came standard with this Spider edition. Alfa had finally arrived to incorporate 5mph bumpers without the ugly monstrosities of the '80's. The series 4 Spider has a fully integrated front and rear bumper.
Both the engine compartment and trunk demonstrate the meticulous care of enthusiast ownership. While in the possession of this collector, the car has been carefully maintained and has provided bulletproof performance. Pre-bidding inspections are encouraged. Bidders with less than 10 feedback score need prior permission to bid.
Hemmings puts the value of this car in the $22,000-$27,000 range... far more than our modest reserve. The car also comes with stunning sheepskin seat covers, spare steering wheel, upgraded radio with remote, and boxes of spare parts. Recent divorce is forcing liquidation of this cherished treasure.
$2000.00 deposit required within 24 hours, and the balance ASAP.

We are posting pictures with the dash cover removed. It appears the dash cover did a terrific job in keeping the sun from cracking the dash. We also removed one of the custom Sherpa seat covers from the drivers seat and have posted a picture of the seat. The seat is leather and likewise in like-new condition. The Sherpa covers did a wonderful job of protecting and preserving the seat. We have also posted a couple of pictures of the undercarriage.
On Mar-31-16 at 11:58:54 PDT, seller added the following information:We’ve had several questions regarding the original steering wheel, the Spider Veloce name plate for the back and wheel hub symbols. This Alfa comes with several boxes of spare parts, mostly NOS. The original steering wheel in like-new condition, brand new NOS Spider Veloce name badge and wheel insignias are all included in the box of spares. Also included are the original Alfa radio, a lovely aftermarket center console, filters and tune-up material. Sorry it was left out of the original description.
