1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Description

1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I've owned this car for a little over a year, and now it's time to pass it on to another owner. This is my second Alfa spider, and they are fun cars to drive, look good and draw a lot of attention!
The odometer reading of 108,000 is incorrect as the odometer stopped working just after I bought the car. My best guess is that I've put about 1000 to 1200 miles on the car, so likely actual mileage is around 110,000. I'm using Mobil 1 oil in it, and oil and filter are new.
I had a trim shop put on a new canvas top, and have had the master cylinder replaced. The car starts every time and runs good. Transmission works well, with the exception of the typical second gear synchro noise until you get the hang of this particular car. As you can see in the photos, it has a new wood steering wheel and matching gear shift knob. The original radio is installed, and if you're a lover of listening while you drive, you'll want to update it.
As with most cars it's age, there are a few areas that could use some work. One of the rear springs is broken, and could stand to be replaced, but I've been driving it with no problems. The passenger side window regulator needs attention, the windshield wiper motor is bad, and the windshield arms are in the trunk at the moment. Paint job is about a 6 or 7 on a scale of 10. There is rust in the spare tire area, and as you can see from one of the photos, the nose of the car has a little bruise on it.
Could be a great project if you want to improve it, or you could drive it as is for many years to come.
I've registered the car in Texas as an Antique Vehicle and registration is good through March 2018. You can re-register as a regular vehicle if you wish.
The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction and sell if an acceptable offer is received.
All in all, a fun car to drive and own. Not a show car, but it's not priced like one either.
