1983 AMC Other Hatchback Description

This is being re-listed due to Bidder backing out at auction end, If you are not going to purchase please don't bid, If you have any questions contact me and I will be happy to answer them Unlike what E-Bays free vehicle report states there is no lien on this car, I have the clean and clear title.
I hate to let it go but I have way to many vehicles and a very small yard Ive owned this Eaglet for 5 years and it has been good to me. This is a 33 year old car that has been in Wisconsin and Colorado it's whole life. Now for the good the bad and the ugly.
The Good: No rust out anywhere, that means that the unibody is solid, the floors have no holes, the underside does have light surface rust, Rocker panels are solid, The 4 wheel drive works properly. Ball joints and CV half shafts replaced in the last couple of years along with the brakes (drums, rotors, pad,s and shoes)This is an excellent candidate for a complete restoration. The heater works excellent, new door seals and window fuzzies, corners like sports car should, add the fuel injected 258 and it would be a real sleeper that will compete against any ricer out there, plus it's a select trac 4 wheel drive for that sure footedness on wet or snowy pavement, has power steering and power brakes Windows that roll down and a vent for that natural air conditioning. The transmission shifts smooth without any synchronizer clash.
The Bad: The windshield needs to be replaced, The rear taillight surround is broken, ( It's fiberglass and I have most of the pieces for it. Or I might be able to get one off of a Spirit at a local bone yard if you pay for it) The GM 151 (factory installed)
The potential: I will sell (cheaply), a six cylinder cross member, 4Liter and what I have to convert two a six cylinder fuel injected car, The 4speed is the good one that will handle the power of a 258 or 4liter. Ive done the conversion before and it isn't difficult. Will give any help for the MOPAR conversion I can, plus it's CARB legal. Other parts are available at time of pick-up.
A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit due 72 hrs at the end of auction, the remainder is due within two weeks if not picked up and paid for in full at that time. I am easy to work with, I've purchased many cars on EBAY and know what it's like to get them picked up in a short period of time so no major rush as long as it's paid for.
