1973 AMC Javelin Javelin 401 Cu. In. Car Description

This is a 1973 AMC Javelin ! It is a original 401 Cu. In, automatictransmission car ! It has a 401 cu. in. engine with a fourbarrel carburetorand aautomatic transmissionin it that looks original but we don't know forsure ! It does ru, by pouring a little gas into thecarburetor ! It has been setting for some tim, and most of the tires are dry rotted and cracked and will not hold air ! The drivers door has been replaced and does not have the build tag on it ! Also there are no keys for the car ! This is a Javelin and not a AMX or a SST car ! We were told that there were not many of these Javelin's made with the 401 engine , but we are not sure ?? " Here are the bad things " The car has some rusting in the lower part of the fender, and rear quarter panel, a little on the front floor pans ex. ! " Here are the good things " The trunk and trunkextensio, the wheel tub, theradiator suppor, the front and rear frame rail, the shock towers and also the motor mount area look good with no heavy rusting or rust holes in them ! Also around the trunk sealarea, and the trunk lid do not have any rust ! Also the windshield and rear glass area do not have any rusting we can see ! This car has the front and rear corner molding, trunk and rocker moldings and wheel well moldings ! It has the original floor shifter with consol, bucket seats and wood grain door panel and speedometer cluster moldings ! This car also has the original clock and rear window defroster in it ! The car also has a 12 bolt rear endand a front sway bar ! It also has power steering and power disc brakes ! This car is still worth restoring , but if we do not sell i, we will be parting it out !
