1972 AMC Other Description

1972 AMC Matador Sedan, 304 V8, Auto. This was a special order vehicle with a SPEC paint code. Car appears to be originally black and tan. Had a vinyl top at some point,not sure if factory or not.Surface rust on the roof now from that being removed, but no rustthrough.Not sure what it would have been used for but it has some unique options.About the only factory option is aRear Sway Bar, zero options, plain base exterior with no mouldings or trim. Someone has added aftermarket power windows, loc, and mirrors, but can easily betaken off. This would be an excellent ADAM 12 police car! Or anyspecialagencycar for that matter. Car ran a few years ago, turns over now but is not getting spark. Very clean body with no rust as the pictures show. Car has been cheaply painted purple with AMX logos and 401 logos (bought it this way), but motor is a 304. Lots of aftermarket interior stereo accessories that can easily be removed. Trunk is solid with no rust. Will obviously need trailered or shipped as a non running car. I would think it could probably fire up with a little troubleshooting but we don't have room to store inside so hate to see it left outside all winter.
