1962 AMC Other Description

This car is mechanically all original.196 l flathea, new clutch,transmission mounts,electronic Points in stock distributor,new tires,new carpet,drives like a dream..Lowered 2 inches but can be put back to stock very easily just remove lowering blocks and spring clamps I did not want to chop it up in case a purist wanted it.I personally believe it to have the right miles on speedo 61000 because of the way it runs the pedal pass are hardly worn.3 speed on the tree shifts great the only major rust I found was under gas pedal from water accumulation but easily fixable.A very solid body for its age.Brakes are good I would drive it anywhere and I do. Has rear 6x9 speakers in the rear with a MP3 player under the seat . Didn't want to butcher the dash.seats are covered in Mexican blankets and very comfortable.I get a lot of thumbs up when I'm out driving it.I have another project and can't have two.
