Up for sale is my personal 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. With only 31k well-cared for and documented miles this vehicle promises to be an exciting and special experience for its next owner. A 6-speed manual transmission, classic color combination, and series tastefully appointed factory options ensures that this vehicle is likely to hold it's value and likely even appreciate through the coming years.
I searched long and hard with a very discerning set of criteria to find this example of Aston's V8 Vantage. When I came across this particular car and spoke atlengthwith it'sprevious owner (who lived only 4miles away from Sill-Terhar Aston) I knew that this was the best example I had come across. Seeing the car in person verified this opinion.
The engine has 30,000miles, OEM spec Bridgestone Potenzas, and options that you might not expect, including dealer install Carbon Fiber side strakes on the fenders as well as anAston Martin 6-bar racing grill. It also has aconservative 35% window tint to keep the interior leatherprotected without obstructing the factory oem appearance of the car. This particular model was tastefully appointed withcharcoalover grayleather that is elegantly contrasted with the optional thick brightwork stitching. The dash also features the optional navigation package, which hides away when not in use. The interior isequipped with with the 700 watt Premium Audio. The supple leather seats are power and heated. Rear parking sensors were also spec'd on this car from the factory.
The entire interior received a deep Leatherique reconditioning treatment when I received the car and has been protected with a custom-cut sun shade whenever outside.
Before purchasing this model, I spent a lot of time on the phone both with it’s owner as well as the service tech at Aston Martin of Denver that had worked on and was very familiar with the vehicle. Ipaid to have a fresh pre-purchase-inspection performed before I picked the car up. The technician at Aston Martin spent an hour on the phone discussing his history with the car as well as the common areas of attention that you want to check with the Vantage model and what items to keep an eye on. I was elated when he gave it such a clean bill of health.
The Aston Martin tech assured me the vehicle was immaculate and only listed“advise” on the door struts beginning to become weak (never had a problem with them myself) and "advised" the parking brake pad starting to get low. He sent me photos that he took of the vehicle while it was on the rack which I’ve attached below. I also had the dealer print the entire service history of the vehicle and attached that below as well.
Upon taking delivery of the Aston I was pleased to see it was in even better condition than I could have expected. Upon bringing it home I made very subtle modifications to the vehicle to help protect and preserve it’s factory beauty. The wheels and grill were refinished in factory OEM silver. Also, becauseI got caught in a rain storm driving it home, I proceeded to put the vehicle on a two-post lift and cleaned the undercarriage to keep it as fresh as possible.
I also installed a set of H&R lowering springs and mild spacers. The springs and spacers are both very conservative (15mm front and 23mm rearand only ¾” on the springs drop). It’s mild enough that nobody knows the car has been modified, but subtly adjusts the car’s attitude to set it apart and make it uniquely sleek in a row of cars at Cars & Coffee. The vehicle resided in my auto detailing shop that I own, and while there, I performed a full paint correction service on it to eliminate any swirls and micro-marring in the paint. After the paint was perfected I installed a layer of the new Opti-Coat Pro PLUS glass coating to protect it’s beauty for the rest of it’s life. I also coated the wheels andbrake calipers to protect them and make cleaning easier.
The front clip and rear wheel arches had very minor rock chips from the normaldriving, so the car received an entire treatment of paint matched Dr. ColorChip paint system to fill any small chips that existed and then was leveled to the surrounding paint. Because almost all of my driving is highway (two trips UT to CA, two trips NV to UT, CO to UT, ect) I installed a full front clear bra kit (bumpers, headlights, fender, hood, rear view mirrors) with self-healing film to ensure all of the miles are completely worry free.
The interior received a 36-hour treatment of Leatherique oil to rejuvenate the leather surfaces. They are completely soft to the touch and show absolutely minimal wear (see photos). I also purchased a custom-fit sun shield for the windshield to protect the dashboard if I was ever parked outside.
This vehicle has been a truly memorable motoring experiencefor me.It’s made me feel incredibly special any time I’ve sat inside and pushed the Engine-Start button on the dash. I really hope to find it's next owner that will feel the same way.
