Thanks for checking out this listing for a superb 2009 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe, located in sunny Scottsdale, AZ. It is finished in Mendip Blue with a Sandstorm leather and Alcantara interior with dark blue accents. This fantastic automobile has enormous power and handling and is completely reflective of the high level of quality and engineering that Aston Martin is so well renowned. Everything works as originally designed and the paint sparkles with no scratches, dings or dents. The interior is in terrific shape as well and has the original aroma of fine leather. The perforated leather seats are very comfortable and have no marks or visible wear, and the Alcantara headliner is in perfect shape with no marks. The wood is a light burled Ash and is remarkable in its appearance and shows tremendous depth. The sound system is truly breathtaking and plays your music at concert hall quality with volume to match. This spectacular automobile is full of amazing options that is expected in such a supremely handmade vehicle. All lights and equipment functions as new. This is a low mileage car that has a clear Carfax and has recently been fully serviced. As described above, the 2009 DB9 was the subject of numerous upgrades to the engine, transmission and suspension systems and is a vast improvement over the previous design. The maintenance that was performed is: new air filters, new a/c pollen filter, new oil filter, new drain plug and copper washers, new set of spark plugs, all new fluids including brake, coolant, gear oil, motor oil, engine oil treatment, new manifold gasket, and new exhaust valves. This Aston is being sold with both keys (or Emotional Control Units as described by Aston) an Aston Martin green cloth car cover, original Aston Martin Battery Tender, the original trunk mounted umbrella and the original owners manual. When not in operation it lives a pampered life under its Aston Martin car cover in the garage or in professional climate controlled storage. Is this car as perfect as new??? No...but it is as close as a 7 plus year old car with 32000 miles can be. There are a few VERY small stone chips on the front, there are scuff marks on the bottom of the air dam, occasionally the Nav Screen has a slight rattle. But, buy this superb example of this awesome marque and save yourself $200,000 !!! The only thing this beautiful Aston realistically needs is a new owner, and I am only selling because I am having surgery and will not be able to drive it for over 9 months. It makes no sense to just let it sit, so: My Loss equals Your Gain. I will be happy to assist in arranging shipping at the buyers expense. A copy of clear Carfax and maintenance report available by request. A $1000 deposit is required within 24 hours of purchase. There is no warranty expressed or implied. Feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for additional photographs. Good luck and Happy Motoring!
Model Overview |
Aston Martin introduced the DB9 in 2005, and the response from both the press and the public was overwhelming. For 2009, the DB9 has maintained all of that luster; both the model and the Aston brand are as popular as ever. The DB9 is available as either a 2+2 coupe or 2+2 convertible, called the Volante. Both are built on Aston's proprietary Vertical/Horizontal (VH) chassis, a highly advanced bonded aluminum structure that provides immense structural rigidity. Also, both the coupe and Volante are powered by a more powerful 470-horsepower, all-aluminum 6.0L V12 that produces an improved 433 ft-lbs of torque and both cars can be ordered with either a six-speed manual or Touchtronic automatic. Either DB9 is capable of nearly 190 mph and 0 to 60 mph comes in just 4.6 seconds. The 2009 DB9 coupe and Volante offer a host of creature comforts you won't find on lesser cars, including a six-disc Linn stereo, premium leather interior, walnut fascia trim, 10-way power seats with heat and three-position memory, satellite navigation, Bluetooth capability, and an umbrella holder. The Volante's power top is made of attractive, durable material and takes just 17 seconds to go up or down. In the down position, it stows compactly beneath an attractive hard tonneau that sits flush with the body of the car, creating a seamless look front to back.Optional equipment includes a choice of interior fascia and door trims, personalized sill plates and 10 and 20-spoke wheels. And because all DB9s are built by hand, customers can personalize their cars with any combination of exterior colors and interior leathers (more than 20 each) they want. Six top colors are available on the Volante.Safety is paramount in the DB9, and in addition to the safety structures built into the chassis, each car comes equipped with dual-stage driver and passenger air bags and seat-mounted side air bags. Additionally, the Volante's A-pillars are reinforced to withstand massive loads, and the car also features tilt sensors; in the event of a roll-over, two rigid safety hoops deploy from the rear seat headrests. |
