2001 Audi A6 Description

Runs & drives but understand that this vehicle needs a good amountof work and TLC.If any more pics or details are needed, feel free to ask.

Rare 4.2 V8. Wide Body (fenders, door blades). All Wheel Drive. Drove great in the snow & rain.
175k Miles.
I didn't receive this vehicle in the best condition to begin with, so I invested a bit of money and made it a reliable daily driver for the last 3 years.It has been parked & not used for over 4 months.....Engine & transmission runs strong.Full brakes, battery, alternator were done within the last year.Vinyl black top, Sunroof, Factory HID headlights, heated front, rear seats & steering wheel, all power, electronic rear shade, etc.Stock radio installed (not the radio pictured).18" wheels are installed but a few may have a slight bends due to NYC potholes. One rim is currently in the shop & was repaired, waiting to be picked up.....which includes a fairly new tire. I will have it mounted before sale. Original set of stock 16" rims with tires will also included (same as thepassengerfront wheel).
Known issues:
Unknown CEL / Airbag light. On board display is not legible (known flaw design).Triptonic shifting has not worked since I've owned the car but I do know that the transmission was rebuilt on purchasing.Possible driver front control arm replacement (it has a clunk / knocking sound, & more consistent during high speed).
Crack on front windshield. Located in the center, below the rearview mirror. Hasn't spread for over a year.
Rear windshield defrost needs rewiring.
New tires are needed, but current set have some life left.
Fender / bumper / hood / grill damage (passenger side).Overall wear & tear throughout due to it's age and mileage, i.e. rips in front seats, one foggy headlight, glove box handle broken, etc. (see pictures).
That's all I can think off the top of my head.Trying to be as detailed as possible.
Vehicle is located in the Bronx, NY.
This is an "As Is" sale. I don't have much time to get full details on what the vehicle needs. You'll need to bring your own mechanic.
Vehicle is no longer registered or has plates. However, it is inspected with the NYC DMV until 2017. It would be a great project to restore or good for parting out. Total in parts would be valued way over my selling price.
Local pick up or shipping company to be handled by the buyer. I will assist on this end with paper work and loading up (of course).
