I have had this car for 13 years, but it is time to move on. It is a WONDERFUL car!!!! It has some minor cosmetic defects like the following: It needs a driver window and a rear drivers side window motor, the E-brake needs to be fixed, the cruise control is broken, the drivers seat leather upholstery has come apart at the seam, and I have the headliner in the back tacked up with thumb tacks. and a small piece of the body side molding broke off on the drivers side. It buns about a quart of oil a month, but that is typical for audis/Volkswagens from this era.
BUT, the car runs like a top! The drive train, Engine, transmission and clutch all drive and work like a dream!!! In fact, this drive train combination is legendary for being practically bullet proof! This car has atlas another 100,000 miles left to give! It drives smooth, and shifts like a dream!I just recently replaced all the lights, and had the suspension tuned up.
