Used 2001 Audi A4 Quattro Wagon
I bought the car with 170,XXX miles and put about $7,000 of work into it, I have all the receipts which will come in a binder with the car.
Within the last three years:
-Full Clutch and assembly
-Turbo
-Complete tie rod/control arms in front upper and lower
-Tires
-Window regulator
- Exhaust pipe
-Brakes Front/Rear Pads/Rotors
-Battery
-Control Arms rear both sides and shock struts
-Sway Bar left
-Axel Assembly shaft
- Complete rack assembly
-Camshaft adjuster /Valve cover gaskets
Airbag and check engine light have been on for the last two years that I have owned it, check engine reads o2 sensor, it hasn't effected the gas mileage, I still get 25mpg consistently. Tear in drivers seat, will need a seat cover. The car is far from perfect and is sold AS IS. It has been my daily driver for the last 3 years, I put about 300 miles per week on the car as I commute to the city and back, a bulk of the miles I put on are highway, and I recently took the car up to Wisconsin. The car shifts very smoothly and drives very well. The rear strut will need to be replaced as it is bent and makes a slight squeeky noise when going over bumps. The damage to the driver side quarter panel happened about 9 months ago when a teenager backed into the car at low speed with a jeep. Does not effect the performance of the car, just looks ugly. Also a minor oil leak, not sure what the cause is, perhaps old age... Im sure there are pieces that I am missing, but as transparent as possible. This car would make a good car for around town or a reliable car in harsh weather.
