2002 Audi TT Description

You will love this gorgeous Silver Audi TT with new black top and gorgeous leather interior. TTs that are in such excellent condition are rare. I bought the car 3 years ago and I've babied it ever since. The car has not been smoked in oreatenin, nor does it smell like stinky chemicals to cover up imbedded odors. It is a truly clean car - it smells and feels great. It is kept in the garage when my boyfriend is out of town, which is 1-2 weeks/month.

The paint still has the factory shine. The car needs nothing as the timing belt and water pump service is done, and the top is brand new. Luxury options include a power top, Bose stereo, 6 CD player (plus single in-dash), heated seats, new tires and Xenon headlights. The car still has the rare top cover which fits in the trunk. Everything works great on the car, including the A/C.

About the top. It was just installed on April 21 2016 by Autowerks East in Lafayette. The only weak point of the TT is the poor bond between the glass window and top on the factory Audi top. If it hasn't failed on a TT yet, it will, and it requires replacing the entire top. Keep that in mind when you shop for a TT roadster. The way to go is with the better-than-factory US-made GAHH top with Ultramaxxx window bonding that comes with a lifetime warranty. It is a heated rear window. Between the top, the timing belt, and water pump, there is $3500 that all of these cars will likely need by 100k miles that you won't have to spend.

About the engine. It has the highly reliable 1.8L 4-cylinder turbo motor that gets 31 MPG highway, 23 MPG city. The turbo means you get the same power in Denver as you will up in the mountains, and great handling with the lighter engine compared to the heavy 3.2L 6 cylinder. The car is great in the snow, and handles like a roadster should.

The car has a clean title. Payment by cashier's check.

Thanks!
