2005 Audi A4 Base Sedan 4-Door Description

The good: This car is fully loaded. Power heated leather seats, Bose Symphony sound system, aftermarket Bluetoothadapter added, S4 all-weather floor mats, the list goes on. The body and interior are in fantastic shape for this year/make/model. This car has less than 80k miles! Get it now and enjoy the gripping AWD.
The bad: Car has been sitting for 6 months. About a year ago the high pressure fuel pump went. The vehicle was towed to a shop for service and the following was replaced (for a total of $1845): intake camshaft and cam follower, fuel pump, fuel pump tappet, and the timing chain. Following the repair the vehicle still wasn't right so they suggested taking apart the engine to further diagnose. I decided to instead lease a new car as I don't have the patience to pay a shop an hourly rate just to try and diagnose the problem. I do not know the full extent of the problems but hopefully you understand these things better than I do. I just need the car gone now to make room for another.
* prior to the battery being drained the car does start up and runs, though not smoothly. When attempting to drive the acceleration is very sluggish/non existent after about 2500 RPM. Car was driven less than a half mile after the shop finished their repairs and has been sitting in a driveway ever since. My loss is your gain. Hopefully you know how to fix these things and can take advantage of the greatly reduced price.
