2007 Audi Q7 Premium Description

One owner AUDI Q7 4.2 Premium. Has all options (non air suspension) One of first in US. Bought in July of 2006. Been an Audi Brand owner since 1985 (yep one of those people) All the way from a UR Quattro, a couple of 5000's, big S4's, S6's, an S8, a bunch of A4's, a handful of a6's and THIS. Only regret, other than selling the UR, none... Had fun with every one of them!!!! No expense spared in maintaining this vehicle. Recent maintenance, transmission service at 200k, front struts, brakes, coil packs, plugs, bla, bla, bla... oh and brand new tires at 210,000. Son had car on a trip and one of the coil pak's went out (happened before) he was a couple hours out, it was near midnight, told him to keep driving. At that point I thought there was nothing you could do to to hurt this vehicle after 10 years, a few trips across the US, mountains, deserts, you name it, but I was wrong. I guess fuel built up in the exhaust port and it must of ignited a couple of times, frying the exhaust valve for piston number one (1). SO THE ENGINE IS TOAST.... THE ENGINE NEEDS REPLACED....THE ENGINE IS TRASHED.... THE ENGINE IS A DUMPSTER DARLING....10 out of 10 MECHANICS will tell you REPLACE THE ENGINE... I had it listed locally and could not believe how many people wanted this NOT to be true after seeing this Q7. But it sounds like a sewing machine and for a Direct Injection 350 HP beast, thats just telegraphing that flying bits and peices of metal will be next!.... Oh Yeah... it still runs... Like a sewing Machine!
My mechanic said with the miles that are on it, go get an engine with low 100's on it, install it, then go put another 100k on the chassis which is in great shape and eaisly ready for another 100k. Only problem. I have no use for it. I have 2 company vehicles. All of my kids are grown and out of the house with their own Audi's, and My wife has her own company vehicle. So its time for the Q7 to go...
