Exterior:
Overall, I’d rate this 9/10. The vehicle has never been in an accident and Carfax will prove that. There are minor dents on the left front door around the door handle and small dent on the left rear quarter panel. There is a small scrap on the left front bumper near the bottom of the bumper cover, but it’s unnoticeable from a distance. There are normal stone chips on the hood and front bumper, but NOTHING abnormal. All the alloy wheesl and center caps/lug covers are in good shape. There is a very small amount of curb rash on the right front wheel. The paint shines and I’ve clay bar/buffed/waxed the paint with Zaino and cleaned/conditioned the leather surfaces with Lexol. There is nothing that "jump out" at you when looking at the car as the pictures will prove.
Interior:
I’d say a 9/10 also. The only change to the interior I made was adding OEM rubber floor mats and giving the leather and carpets a deep cleaning. As you can tell by the pictures, the leather is in amazing shape, as are the door panels, rear seats and trunk/cover trim. All interior trim items work, including all the power accessories, more on that in a moment. The only wear items are the front lower seat bolsters on the outboard sides. I don't think the rear seats have ever seen use. There is the OEM truck protection cover installed and the OEM rubber mats front/rear.
Drivetrain/Chassis:
The engine starts, runs, idles and rev’s perfect, so 10/10. I’ve recently replaced the spark plugs and air filter as well as the pollen filter and brake fluid/oil change. I’ve also replaced the front and rear brake pads and rotors with factory parts OEM parts. The engine is quiet and powerful, smooth with no misfires or anything else abnormal. There is no smoke on start up or any smoke under full throttle. The turbo spools fine and is quiet. The engine/transmission has no leaks of any kind. The engine never suffered from the oil consumption issue, but would still be covered under the Audi factory warranty if the issue would become apparent. The vehicle recently passed state inspection with no issues. The tires are all around 60-70% tread life remaining and are an OE Audi Tire.
Electrical:
10/10. No issues known. The power windows, mirrors, heated seats, sunroof, exterior lamps, radio/CD player, SD card readers/Nav/AMI, all MMI functions and buttons/sat radio, instrument cluster, HVAC system, interior lamps and defroster all work fine. There are no fault lamps on and no fault codes stored as of 5/15/16. The A/C works very well as does the heat. The vehicle has Audi side assist, B&O audio and the normal "S-Line" barrage of goodies like the sports seats with alcantra inserts and the black headlining.
History:
I have service history from when I bought the vehicle until now. The title is clear and doesn’t have any “brands.” I am the 2rd owner and have the receipts for the work I’ve done to it using OEM parts. The vehicle doesn't have an aftermarket part installed anywhere on it. It does have the red start/stop button from the SQ5 and the OEM black from grille. These are Audi parts, not aftermarket.
Price:
I’m asking $23,000, but willing to move a little if I don’t get much interest. That may sound somewhat on the high side of the spectrum, but the vehicle is an excellent example of a well maintained Audi A5 and the above details should show that. The mileage is 90% highway, and you can tell by the overall road feel/tightness of the chassis. I welcome test drives however I don’t want time wasters. I have a demanding schedule and little time for tire kickers. If you wish more details or high res pictures please include what you would like via email. I’m also open to taking a deposit for a serious buyer. I have a feeling the car will be sold quickly.
In closing, this somewhat of a rare combo. 6-speed S-Line A5 in black with all the goodies from the S5 and all the mod potential/fuel savings of the 2.0T.
