1995 Audi 90 Description

Up for sale is my 1995 Audi 90 Quattro Sport with 88,300 original miles. This vehicle is in exceptional shape for its age and will please any Audi enthusiast. A brief overview: I purchased this vehicle 6 months ago from an older gentleman looking to lighten the amount of cars he had and I happen to be a VWGOA employee and fan so it worked out for the both of us. While it was in good shape a 21 year old car will require some love which I will discuss what has been done below. To that degree, I do not need to get rid of this car but I would like to empty my parking lot of a drive way a bit. Please contact me if you have any questions. If the price is right I will let this car go; please note it is for sale locally and in numerous club classifieds so I expect it to go quick.

I will describe this car best to my ability please reasonably note that any 21 year old car will have its flaws in that respect this one has less than others.

Mechanical:

The 90 is equipped with the 2.8l V6 coupled to a 5 speed. Since I have had it I have done the following:

• New Clutch (resurfaced flywheel, new throw-out bearing) not even broken in yet

• 6 new fuel injectors

• New valve stem seals, lifters, springs, retainers & valve cover gaskets

• New o2 sensors

• New Idle Air Control Valve

• Timing belt and water pump done at 88,000 miles

• New Plugs

• New upper and lower Rad hoses

• A/C works and blows cold

• New rear diff fluid ( locking Diff works )

To summarize, the motor runs strong and the trans shifts as it should, all mechanical aspects of the car are functioning. I will mention there is a howl coming from the rear passenger wheel bearing. I have replacement rearAudibearings to go with the car

Exterior:

The exterior of the 90 is in good shape for its age. The paint has been clayed, compounded and polished. There are blemishes and they are to be expected. The front bumper has a crack in the headlight nozzle, the rear bumper has some nicks and parallel parking bruises. The most obvious dent is on the passenger side rear door. There is some clear coat failure on the driver’s side rear fender. The rest of the metal is straight, clean and most importantly rust free. I have spent a fair amount of time underneath the vehicle having done the clutch and can confirm it is spotless. As you can see from the pictures the 90 is currently wearing cabriolet wheels and relatively new tires. I will be including the original 90 wheels in this auction.

Interior:

The interior is as it looks in the pictures. Everything is original and functioning including the heated seats. The only add on to the interior is a head unit that although is not my taste it does work rather well. Once again, all gauges and buttons do what they are supposed to do. The ski bag is still intact and looks great.
