General Desription
Up for sale is a 2008 BMW 335i I've been painstakingly restoring to its full potential over the past year. It performs as well on the race track as it does a daily driver. Many, many upgrades included that allow it to outperform cars costing well over six figures. AC blows ice cold and the sound system is absolutely amazing. Car has never been in an accident (per Carfax) and there are zero faults or dash lights! It's been detailed, serviced and is ready for a new driver that will appreciate this car.
This 335i is likelyTHEsmoothest running and most well-maintained 335 you'll find on eBay. Average MPG is about 17MPG with mixed city/highway driving (BMW also counts idling in dash counter). With the catless downpipes installed, it will put out well over 400 horsepower and easily out-handles the Porsche Boxster I previously owned. JB4 also enables the use of an E85 mix. The N54 335i has been described as the next Supra for its performance capabilities and is a steal at this price!
Vehicle will come with one key and I will include any extra parts I have. From memory, I have a high pressure fuel rail, CHRA cartridges for rebuilding the turbos, an original "angel eye" halogen light, the adjustment wrench for the coilovers and some miscellaneous new bolts and connectors I bought from the dealership. I'll also include a set of catless downpipes, which were recently removed for emissions testing (Passed in July 2016).
Below you'll find a list of factory options and upgrades installed on this vehicle. I've performed all of the service myself with genuine BMW parts alongside BMW ISTA with an ICOM, just like a dealership. I can answer most questions, so feel free to ask.
Unlike a dealership, I did not only perform the bare minimum service necessary to sell this vehicle, I performed all services necessary to bring this vehicle to peak performance and have listed every minor issue.
I'll be transferring the plates from this vehicle on September 6th and performing an interior detail. The vehicle is pictured without any sealant, wax or camera tricks. After pictures were taken, I applied a sealant and will be applying a coat of high quality wax then parking this car in the garage until final pickup.
Buyer should be aware that tires included are summer high-performance tires and you will need winter tires to drive in the cold weather and snow. I have a set of genuine BMW M3 rims (by BBS) and winter tires that will not be included in this sale, but can sell the buyer. If interested, the rear fenders will need to be rolled as the M3 rear offsets will rub.

Known Issues and Suggested Service
These are only suggestions based on my observations while working on this car. Aside from normal maintenance, nothing is needed in the foreseeable future. I want to provide the new owner with a comprehensive list of information that will bring the car back to showroom new.
In the next 10k-15k miles:
* Oil Pan Gasket needs to be replaced, slight weeping - Common issue with all N54 engines, will require 1 bolt set ($24.38) and gasket ($31.29). Would recommend being done at next oil change.* Transmission should also have gasket (comes with pan) and mechatronic sealing sleeve replaced (~$250 total in parts) - Also a common issue, would recommend planning for this in near future.* Upgrade the last 3 injectors in cylinders 1-3 with the latest revision 12 injectors. Injectors have appeared for ~$130 ea. at Rock Auto and will require coding.* Replace the 2 older coils ($30 ea.)* Rear wheel bearings
In the next 30k miles:
* I'd check turbos to make sure oil line gaskets are still ok and CHRA cartridges are ok - (replace with CHRA included, if necessary)* New coils and plugs likely
In the next 50k miles:
* Another intake cleaning will be necessary - this is regular maintenance
Aesthetic:
* Fix dent on rear quarter panel through paintless dent removal* Get front and rear bumpers repainted, perhaps hood also - front bumper has micro chipping from road debris, while rear bumper has damage that has been touched up as a temporary fix* Previous buyer cut out diamond from back of rear seat in trunk (for sound porting). This is not visible in the cabin, only trunk. Could buy new rear seat for ~$100 or install ski bag.* Front kidney grills were plasti-dipped black. Could re-spray or replace for ~$30

Full payment will be required before I release the vehicle and title. If paying by check, payment will need to clear BEFORE I release the vehicle. Please verify payment details prior to coming to pick the vehicle up. Do not bid if you don't have the funds available!!
For transportation, Illinois DMV's have a temporary 7-day "drive away" tag (I believe it costs $10). Once the title is signed over to the new owner, we can drive over to the nearest DMV. Only the title and a valid Driver's License are required. Please plan your trip accordingly if you need this tag as the facility closes by 5:30pm!
