2007 BMW X5 Description

BMW's SUVs have always placed more emphasis on sport rather than utility, and the redesigned 2007 X5 continues in that tradition. The X5 is one of the few SUVs that wears a "tuned at the Nurburgring" label.The 260-horsepower 3.0L in-line six is the base engine, and a 4.8L V8 with double overhead camshafts and four-valves-per cylinder is available. The V8 produces a rousing 350 horsepower. Both engines are matched with six-speed automatic transmissions and are outfitted with a sport-tuned suspension.All the features you would expect to find standard on a $55,000 vehicle are present, including xenon adaptive headlights, rain-sensing windshields, power and memory functions, stability control, and dual zone automatic climate control. A tire pressure monitor, dynamic cruise control, and BMW's famed iDrive system are also present.
