1998 BMW 3-Series 328IS 2dr Cp Description

1998 Bmw 328is. It's dependable 5 speed manual transmission. 6 cylinder 2.8 liter motor. The body looks very nice. It has scratches on the back bumper cover and a few small nicks on the front bumper cover..It was a one owner car before he was in a fender bender a couple of years ago. The left front light and fender. I bought it from him after finding out that his insurance didn't want to pay to fix it.. rebuilt salvage as a result. The left front fender at the top..has a small scratch. I replaced that fender with an original bmw fender off of another green one. Anyways. I did remove the rocker panel covers because they catch dirt and debris, and cause rust behind them. Luckily they were in nice shape behind them. I have them with new clips if somebody wants to put them back on. Well.. besides that.. The car is totally original. Miles on the vehicle at 145900.. but it is odometer discrepancy. The previous owner did not give the tow driver his keys to the car, so it was recorded as an odometer issue because the insurance company could not tell the exact mileage. It drives well. The tires are pretty decent Michelin brand with over half left to drive with. The brakes work well. The stereo and the cd changer work great. It does have the harmon kardon system. The led pixels on the radio are out on the radio. One is able to read what is going on with the radio if one is looking at the screen at certain angles. The same thing is going on with the mileage on the vehicle. Sometimes all the pixels are showing, sometimes half the pixels are showing, and sometimes, there are no pixels at all displaying the mileage. A bummer, but both are common problems that don't bother me, but may bother somebody else. Interior is leather with heated seats. They work fine. The passenger seat is in nice shape, back seats are nice. Drivers seat looks very good overall, although it does have the usual wear on the edge of the back and a bit on the bottom. The srs light came on one day, and has stayed on. The check engine light bulb does not come on if one turns the key to the on position to start the vehicle. It shifts very well, the clutch is great and it drips nothing. The oil is always changed with castrol total synthetic. The car is pretty fun to drive. There are no weird issue problems. The temperature gauge has always picked the correct stop to be, with no overheat issues. The water level is always where it is supposed to stay.. with me adding nothing in that respect. I have had no issue with the air conditioning.. as well as the traction control and the abs braking system. The overall visual of the car is very pleasing. with little to complain. The paint looks good.. a smooth look about the vehicle.. as if it came from somebody who actually cared for the car. The underneath of the car is solid. I do feel the suspension is in great shape.
