1997 BMW 8-Series Low Miles, 840CI Description

1997 BMW 840CI in mint condition with low miles. Last year of 840 model. 1 of 658 sold in 1997. A total of 2450 8 series V8's sold in the USA over four years. Original black paint in exceptional condition with tan Nappa leather interior. Original M62 4.4 liter V8 and ZF five speed automatic transmission. As fast as the V12 without the maintenance expense.

All of the minor issues common to the 8 serieshave been addressed including the following;

-MID display now in perfect shape with all pixels visible.

-Brand new BMW headlights, buckets and gas struts for headlight. Fitted with bright 9011 bulbs. This resolved tilt issue common to 8 series caused by broken adjusters. Lights are now outstanding.

- Driver's side windows (they drop slightly when is opened) adjusted perfectly by dealer and door weather strip replaced

Also;

- Perfect forged throwing star wheelswith correct 840 offset and new (200 miles) Michelin Pilots. Includes as new throwing star spare and four extra new BMW center caps in original packaging.

In addition, all filters replaced including power steering, engine, oil and AC filters. New wipers installed on perfect original windshield.Both cam cover gaskets and timing cover gaskets replaced by dealer to correct minor oil leak.

Non smoker. AC ice cold and no known mechanical issues whatsoever.

Includes dozens of 840 road tests, magazines and books. All original manuals and keys including valet key.
