1996 BMW 3-Series Convertible, black vinyl trim. Description

California classic BMW E36 328i convertible. Black inside and out. Leather seats. Well kept stock condition. Low miles (133500), used as daily driver in short distance commuter duty since 2014. 22mpg city, 30mph highway. Completely reliable, great for long desert road trips. No rust. Always parked in covered garage.
Convertible canvas top (black) replaced approximately 3 years ago; the soft plastic rear window is clear and free of blemishes. However, there is wear and tear on the passenger side inside fabric. The semi-automatic top retract/extend action is motorized, works fine, takes less than a minute and can be performed from the drivers seat.
Fitted with the original 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system which sounds OK but only the front 6 speakers work. The rear ones are cracked, rattles and should be replaced. 6-disc CD changer in back. Original head unit with tape deck and digital FM / AM / WB radio front.
Advanced (18-button) OBC in center console with mileage computer. Two-zone AC with digital separate temperature control for passenger and driver. Power seats (leather). Power windows. Power mirrors. Power locks. Cruise control with speed limiter.Electric system 100% OK. Completely reliable.
190hp straight-six M52 motor in perfect shape.Meticulously maintained since 2014 by Bullet Performance in Costa Mesa (service transcript provided).Transmission, clutch, power steering, suspension, brakes, all safety equipment good except ABS system has an apparent sensor problem.
California smog and safety check OK (2016).
M-rated tires fitted. Trunk spare tire of same type.
