2003 BMW 5-Series Base Sedan 4-Door Description

This auction is for a 2003 BMW 525i 4 door sedan in excellent condition. The Titanium Silver paint is really amazing for a car of this age and miles. Very few blemishes, none that stand out and it shines perfectly. The interior is in excellent condition. The black leather is supple with little or no wear anywhere, even the drivers seat which has a sort of polished patina from careful use. The carpet is clean, unstained and unweathered. The car is equipped with most all power options, optional sport alloy wheels, sunroof and aftermarket Pioneer stereo system. The car starts, runs and drives excellently, going down the road smoothly and quietly. It stops quickly and reliably. The car has almost 167k on the odometer but I've seen these BMW inline sixes with far more miles. The engine compartment is stock, neat and orderly with no sign of modification or disrepair. From the looks of it the car has always had excellent service and maintenance and never been abused. The tires have about 90% tread and the car tracks perfectly. All gauges work, no service lights are on, the engine oil has just been changed. No sign of rust or corrosion anywhere that I can see. The trunk is clean with some minor signs of wear on the floor covering. It has a full size spare tire with an alloy wheel like is on the car. Carfax shows the car spent the first 10 years of its life in Texas so the the dry climate was kind to the bodywork. All in all a very beautiful soon to be classic car!I purchased this car from a salvage sale. It had been involved in a minor front end collision in July of this year. Very minor. No blown airbags, no broken glass, no drive train damage or frame damage . I replaced the left headlight, left fender and front bumper cover. Bumper support was untouched. Radiator and core support were untouched. Easily could have been driven home from the fender bender. It has been repaired, inspected by the State Patrol and issued a "rebuilt title" which means it will work like any other title as far as owning, driving and licensing goes. I welcome inspection of the vehicle in person before bidding. I have driven it several hundred miles and am amazed at the quality feel and ride of these cars. This is a NO RESERVE auction. The high bidder at the end of the auction will own it so please...do not bid if you cannot buy. Your bid, no matter how low, may be the high bid and then you will need to pay for the car. It is of course a "pickup only auction" so you will either need to come and drive it home or have someone haul it to you. Many companies online ready to do that for a fee. Email me with any questions you may have. See my feedback and bid with confidence.
