I purchased this car in July to enjoy over the summer while I fixed my Jeep. I have a clear title in hand. The car is very quick and tons fun. Looks great for its age and gets loads of compliments. It includes a soft top and hard top, both working. The car needs TLC but is mechanically sound. Because it is a 98 some interior work would need to be done if you want to restore it; basically clips and time. When I purchased the car I had a mechanic perform a full tuneup on it and look over everything, no problems. It is inspected until March 2017 but in VA, where I bought it. I would recommend a PA inspection but I have been fine with VA thus far. Also includes original owners manual
Since I bought the car I have:Replaced the windshield wipers7 new BMW emblemsPassenger Mirror assembly (holds it upright)Front Floor Speakers4 BRAND NEW TIRES (less than 2k miles)Added two custom fit seat covers
I drive the car as is, but if you want a full resto it could use the following:Front bumper spoiler has a crackWindow arms need to be looked at, they work but sometimes they require a steady hand to guide them (Window motors work fine). The driver side auto window button works but is not flush with the molding, needs new clips as you can see in the picture. The car has your typical usual wear and tear for a car nearly 20 years old. It could use a good detailing and time to replace interior clips and molding.Driver side leather seat has a tear in the bottom (my fix was $100 seat covers)Has original CD player but I don't believe it works. I only tried it once but I use Pandora so I got over it quickly.
THE CAR MUST BE PICKED UP AND PURCHASED IN PERSON. CASH ONLY.
The car is located in Tamaqua, PA 18252.

1. I forgot to mention that I never had the air conditioner charged, had no need to with the top down. So AC currently does not blow out cold air.
2. The driver's side window is getting worse and should be looked at before next convertible season. Again, motor works but an arm or something must be out of place. Goes down fine, coming back up is the issue. Needs to go all the way down then needs force to come fully up. Once this is fixed, the door panel will need new clips.
