2007 BMW M6 NEIMAN MARCUS EDITION #50 of 50Yes....you read correctly....ONLY 50 of these cars were EVER produced.This is considered the rarest of BMW editions to ever be offered. This car was introduced in the Christmas Wish Catalog for Neiman Marcus and was SOLD OUT in 92 seconds (still considered today as the fastest sellout in history).As for the car itself: it is the M6 Convertible but with the following Neiman Marcus additions:1) the interior is completely different than any other BMW. It was made by Rolls Royce using their golden orange leather. It also has the Piano Black trim versus the cheaper looking carbon fiber. The interior is one the classiest interiors I have ever seen. It also looks BRAND SPANKING NEW. 2) The exterior is the EXCLUSIVE Ruby Black color. Completely indescribable in words or pictures. When sitting in the shade it looks Black.....reverse it in the sun and the Ruby sparkle comes out of nowhere. I have never seen a color scheme like this. The wheels were custom Powder Coated to match the interior color along with a couple enhancements on the front grills to match. The hood and trunk lid were specifically designed for these 50 cars and ONLY these cars.3) Performance is the standard POWERFUL V10 engine with 500 horse power. 2 K&N air filters add an additional 25 horse power. Custom F1 exhaust which not only adds an incredible sound without being obnoxious but also adds 40 horse power. This thing is a beast for a 4 seater convertible. The V10 is impeccable and one of the best engines offered. Unfortunately, too many owners didn't maintain these engines with the recommended M Oil and BMW techs maintaining the engines....hence the few engine questions. Very similar if a Lamborghini V10 owner would take their Lambo to a Valvoline shop for oil changes and maintenance......DUMB!! This was perfectly maintained the way performance cars are supposed to be.4) The original owners paid $165,000 ($139K MSRP plus guzzler taxes and import taxes) for this car and included an onsite German Factory delivery. They were allowed to drive them in Germany for a week then the car was delivered to them.
This car runs amazing and smooth. Extremely fast and comfortable. I own many exotic cars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Vector, Viper, Corvette)....and this car can easily keep up with them....the difference...I can put my 2 kids in the back seat comfortably. The Convertible top opens and closes flawlessly and in great condition. The brake calipers were custom coated. Tires are brand new with less than 250 miles. Cleaned and detailed in person and not by drive through car washes.
It has been maintained and updated through one of the best BMW dealerships in southern Orange County...I have everything on a USB drive to show the records.
