2008 BMW X5 Description

2008 BMW X5 4.8i- 1 Owner
Some of my favorite features include;
  • Rear view camera
  • Heated front seats and STEERING WHEEL
  • Front seats have all kinds of adjustments that I don't even know how to describe with words
  • Third row seats that fold flat
  • I don't know what it's called but there's this feature that applies the brakes independently on each of the four wheels in the snow and it is very helpful when driving in hilly winter terrain.
  • 4.8i V8 growl
  • A "hold" feature that means you don't have to keep your foot on the brake during bumper ot bumper traffic.
Some notes on my usual maintenance practices;
  • I always use Mobil1 fully synthetic engine oil and matching filter [I usually get the oil @ costco, the filter on Amazon and have my local mechanic do the work.
  • The bridgestone tires I have on the car now are from costco and are filled w/ nitrogen [if that makes any difference]. I also go to costco for the tire rotations/inspections.
  • The battery was changed less than one year ago. This is significant because you cannot put any old batter in this car and this batter was pricey.
Just to give full disclosure these are the issues I have noticed thus far;
  • There is some wear/tear on the front bumper from everyday use
  • There is a large door ding [indentation] on one of the doors when somebody else's door swung open during a episode of high winds at the train station.
  • Every couple of months or so the low engine oil light comes on and I have to add a quart of motor oil and engine coolant.
Please feel free to message me with any further questions, concerns or requests for more pictures. Lastly, I apologize for the car not being detailed before the photos were taken.
