This car has been ENTHUSIASTICALLY and PROFESSIONALLY maintained and serviced! With only 32,500 miles, the factory warranty and the legendary BMW reliability, one could not ask for more!
Let's start on the engine and drivetrain:
-ENGINE
This engine has low to normal miles for the year (a low average of about 10,000 a year), 32,500 miles appear on the odometer and the car shows the same care throughout. Starts right up, no issues, no check engine lights - ZERO stories. But let's chat about that engine for a second. What an engine it is! GOBS of power - a tame kitten around town, a CHEETAH with a heavy right foot. The 240hp feels not a horsepower shy and the car springs to occasion if you give it the opportunity. Just received oil change and vehicle inspection.
-TRANSMISSION
Shifts are incredibly quick, smooth and almost totally imperceptible.
-BATTERY
Battery cranks the car right away and is ready for years of service!
Lets move to the suspension and brakes:
-BRAKES
Babied and great shape brake pads in the front and rear - loads of pad life! The car brakes great. Nice linear pedal pressure, not too soft, not too hard of a pedal. Great feel for the road in the pedal too - not too isolated! BRAND NEW brake fluid flush.
-SUSPENSION
The shocks dampen the ride wonderfully and control the springs perfectly. No clunks, bangs, noises or knocks. They are tight in corners, but yet supple around town!
-STEERING
The steering is tight and has no excess play. It has a nice light-medium weight to it, with great road feel!
Let's continue to the exterior:
-PAINT and BODY
The paint and body are VERY nice! It is a 9 out of 10 easily. Shiny, beautiful Jet Black paint was recently polished, finished and waxed by a highly acclaimed detailer here in LA. It looks FANTASTIC. CLEAN and CLEAR CarFax. NO ACCIDENTS. Like 99% of cars, there are a couple very small scrapes on the lower bumper valance from a low driveway, a few very small scratches on the paint and a small paint chip in the rear bumper. Any other flaws would be extremely small and be well below normal wear and tear for a 3 year old car. This is a dry SoCal car! That means no rust lurking under the surface ready to pop up and ruin your paint! If there was a place to buy ANY car, it is dry, warm SoCal. No rain and no road salt!
-WHEELS
The wheels are in stunning shape and with the exception of a few minor light flaws. They look brand new and shine beautifully!!
-TIRES
Tires have ~50%+ life remaining and ready to go many more miles!
-GLASS
Not to let a pebble defeat this car, the windshield and glass are great shape!
Onto the cabin:
-SEATS
The black leatherette seats are absolutely wonderful!!! They are near brand new in shape and I have to say they, along with the rest of the interior, are a 9/10. They are incredibly supportive with what feels like zero foam wear. The leatherette is SO soft and comfortable and truly more durable than the leather option. The seats have been well cared for and shows no reportable flaws. The interior has been recently cleaned and conditioned as well!
-CARPET
Beautiful carpet in the car! It has been shampooed and cleaned as part of the overall detail. GORGEOUS!
-RADIO/CD CHANGER
OEM radio sounds fantastic - deep, rich sound with clear lows and well defined highs.
-AC/HEAT/HVAC Panel
AC is ice cold and Heat is earth core hot! Easy to use system which interfaces with the large screen. Easy for on the fly adjustments without having to use much more than a quick glance!
-STEERING WHEEL
The leatherette is flawless with no wear and the wood is deep, rich and shows the same care!
-KEYLESS ENTRY
Remote keyless entry arms the alarm with a press of a button!
-CARGO AREA
Beautiful, essentially unused trunk with the trunk carpet looks beautiful!
The EXPERIENCE:
Driving this BMW is truly is fantastic. It pulls and handles like a sports car and is as comfortable as a full blown luxury car. It has loads of power, a communicative chassis, wonderful strong brakes, a well tuned comfortable suspension and is an absolute treat to drive. It is everything you could want in a car. This is A LOT of car of the money and dare I say one of the best money-to-value cars available especially when you consider the dependable reliability of the BMW brand. Who is this car good for? It would make a wonderful family car with easy access in the rear, comfortable rear seats and a large trunk. It would make a great daily driver for someone looking for a comfortable reliable luxury car as well. BMW keeps it simple as well and is very user friendly, which makes for an ideal car for someone perhaps retired looking for a wonderful luxury car but without too much hassle or overwhelming invasive technology like you can find in the BMW and Mercedes up the scale.
Don't spend big money on a car from a "turn-em-and-burn-em" style dealer when all they do to promote the car is say a few things they think people like to hear. As you may tell from my ad, I know cars and what they need and the details that make them tier 1, from a tier 2 or worse and I hope to have addressed them to those of you that know as well.
