1989 BMW 6-Series Description

If you have been looking for a 635csi, this is awell kept 1989. This is the last production year for the E24, and it has the rare factory 5 speed manual. It gets a log of attention everywhere I go. It is a weekend driver when the weather is nice, to keep the systems operable.
The A/C has been professionally converted to 134, and the front and rear AC blows ice-cold and the heater is hot.
The interior is clean. No tears in leather or cracks on dash. Head liner in excellent shape and rear seat look new.
All front suspension was replace approx. 3 months ago. Brake pads and rotors replace with caliper rebuild approximately a year ago. I have only used Mobil 1 synthetic oil and it is changed at 4k interval.
The exhaust is a B&B stainless steel cat back system. Has lowered suspension with bilsteins. Front strut bar.
Tires are 17" Continental Extreme Contact on BMW 3 piece wheels, and with plenty of tread left. Wheels are in good condition but show some hazing.
The paint also has the usual hazing that is indicative of the era, but only noticeable close up.
All electricals are in working order except the following: (1) The onboard computer backlight is out. I have the replacement but have not had to replace it. (2) The cigarette lighter is dislodged from the holder but works. (I use for cell phone....car never smoked in)
Waterproof cover included with sale. The mileage may be a bit higher than indicated as I drive it occasionally.
