BMW Z4 M Roadster and Coupe Convertible Z4M
2007 BMW M Roadster & Coupe Description

I am sad this day is here but I have to let her go. She’s been driven a total of 300 miles this past summer and made me realize I can no longer justify having her sit knowing full well someone else could be driving her the way she was meant to. I have also inherited an old E36 M3 from my father in law that needs some work so I am looking forward to that.
If you are really into Z4M’s you already know that only 4857 of these cars were made in total in the world, which includes coupes. Of this, only 117 roadsters were with a Black Sapphire Metallic exterior and an Imola Red interior. This is the exact color combo I wanted and would not settle so after fourth months of searching, I finally picked her up on August 31st 2009 from BMW of Turnersville with exactly 12853 miles on the clock.
She’s beautiful. There is not a single thing on her I would change. In fact, in the 5 years I have owned her - she does not have a single mod. Not even the stubby short antenna mod that everyone does the moment they buy a Z4M. She is as stock as a car with 59k miles can get. If a compliment from strangers is what you are after - this is it.

The car was a BMW certified Preowned (CPO) and therefore came with an extended bumper to bumper warranty and maintenance program. The maintenance program expired on 4/30/2011 and the CPO warranty expired in 04/30/2013. During this time all maintenance and warranty work if any (detailed above) was done at the dealership. After the maintenance program was up, the car has had its oil changed regularly by myself and twice the frequency recommended by BMW (Every 7k miles). I am an engineer (which doesn’t mean much by itself really) but I am the kind that will tighten every bolt with a torque wrench to spec. Obsessive to say the least. I have receipts for most of the oil and filter purchase if you need. Full service history under warranty is at the bottom after the pictures.
Exterior: The car is in absolutely fantastic condition. It’s been garaged (up until last year, now it sits under a cover since I no longer have a house with a garage). I painstakingly wash the car with only the two bucket method with a grit guard at the bottom and Meguiars Gold Class car wash, clay it once a year with pinnacle Poly clay followed by a polishing using a Porter Cable Dual Action polisher and Meguiars M103. Finally seal with Klasse All-in One sealant (I still have all the receipts for these products bought 5 years ago if you are interested). The soft top is cleaned using 303 convertible cleaner and sealed using 303 High Tech Fabric Guard twice a year. It operates perfectly and water beads up on the cloth.
The bodywork is in great condition for the mileage of the car. It is a very low car so susceptible to stone chips up front and this can be faintly seen in one of the pictures below. Most are not even visible from 2 feet away. Also, most Z4M bumpers have worn out ‘fangs’ at the bottom from people accidentally hitting curbs when parking. I have been very careful to avoid this so they are in perfect shape as you can see from the pictures. The rear wheels have slight stone chips. None of them have any curb rash. Please judge for yourself by looking at the close up pictures of the wheels.
