2007 BMW 5-Series 530Xit Description

This is my 3rd Manual E61 BMW 5 Series Wagon with N/A (Naturally Aspirated) N52 Engine and 6 Speed Manual. and 6th E61 Wagon between 530XiT(N/A), 535i X-Drive (Turbo), Manual and Automatic.
E61 Wagon is last 5 series Wagon BMW imported for North America. on 5 Model Year Run (2006~2010), 2006 & 2007 was imported as 530XiT with N/A engine. 08~09 was imported with N54/N55 Turbo Charged Engine.
Personally, I love N52 engine over N54/N55 Turbo Engine. It's last of really smooth straight 6 Engine with good efficiency and power.
This Particular wagon was one of last 530XiT wagon with manual transmission. There're about 248 Manual Transmission E61 with N52 Engine ever imported for North America (USA, Canada) It could be distinguished by last 7 digit of the VIN start with B799***. First 6 Cars produced were not for sale and used for EPA and other certification purposes.
I personally pulled all the built sheets of E61 Wagon with manual transmission that came to US and Canada few years ago. This particular vehicle (B799232) was one of Top 10 vehicle of 530XiT as far as loaded equipment and MSRP goes. It started life as special ordered vehicle that was delivered in Munich as part of European Delivery Program.
It comes with Monaco Blue Exterior (A35) and Beige Dakota Interior (LCBA),6 Speed Manual Transmission. CCC DVD Navigation (609) & Heads Up Display (610; Only about 50 or so Manual E61 530Xit Came with this),Cold Weather Package (ZCW; Front Heated seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Headlamp Washer),Premium Package (ZPP; Automatic Tail Gate with Automatic Roll up Cover- Out of 6 E61 wagon I had, this one was the only one it has good working roll up cover-, Auto Dimming Mirrors (in & out, Panoramic Sunroof), Universal Garage Door Opener),Sports Package (ZSP; Sports Steering Wheel, Multi Contour Seat, Shadowline satin black trims),Rear Side Airbags (261; only about dozen of E61 530Xit came with this),Park Distance Control (508),Rear Roll Up side Shades (417)iPod Adaptor (6FL; 30Pin iPod Connector in globe box), Aux input port in the back of center console. All weather rubber floor mats and cargo mats for the trunk. Also beige factory carpet floor mats are coming with the vehicle.
My job requires to drive my company car every day. I also have few other personal cars on my hand . Therefore, this one was my back up vehicle and sort of collector piece. When I sold last E61 Wagon with Manual last year after snow plow backed-into it, I wasn't in the market for another wagon. then, this one just came to market and I couldn't pass it up since the condition of the car and rarity of it. However, I only used about 4000 miles since I got it and I picked up few more personal car along the way.
Let's talk about the good, bad and the ugly.
Good:1. It never been damaged. All the body panels are original paint.2. All the maintenance is done and typical E60/E61 BMW issues are looked after. (Engine Oil at 197500 miles, Spark Plugs & Coils - at 197500 miles, Valve Cover gasket, Oil filter housing and cooler housing gasket, Front suspension kits- Trust Arms, control arms, stabilizer bushings- at 193200 miles, Water pump & Thermostat at 184500 miles. Rear Tail lamps and roof drain plug at 192000 miles)3. it comes with brand new Bridgestone Blizzak Performance Winter tires (only have 500 miles on it)4. Very desired option configuration.
Bad:1. Exterior has few dings around rear doors and quarter panel and stone chips on the edge of the hood. Also, there're 2 inch by 4 inch circular scratches on passenger side of rear bumper cover (see attached pictures)2. Rear passenger side roller sun shade is broken and rolled down into door trim. You could amend the sun shade but requires tear down of door trim with side air bag. I didn't bother with this since I don't have anybody to sit in the back any way.3. Driver side front seat bottom extender power adjustment is broken. Seat is 16 way multi contour seat which is rare with E61. I can extend bottom cushion with my hand on long drive. Also both front seats got bit of jean stains on the back part- see attached pictures.4. DVD drive for navigation sometimes couldn't recognize disc - it's known issue with BMW CCC drive. You can change whole dvd drive for about $100. I used my iPhone's waze for navigation anyway. HUD is displaying speed, cruise and radio inforamtion whether DVD is working or not.
Ugly:This car has absolutely no 'Ugly' per se. However, it just has bit of miles but it doesn't scare me at all. I drove from connecticut to michigan and back without any issue. Other than that 1 trip to Michigan, all the miles are used on Merritt parkway between NYC and Middletown, CT.
The car comes with 2 keys. Manuals and documents are also included.
I'm selling this car as-is, where-is. I can certainly help buyer to load up the car on the transporter. I can also get 15 day temporary registration with the car. It has clean title.
I'll not tell what's my reserve is nor end auction early. All I can say is my reserve is lower than private party 'Good'/'Clean' condition value both from kbb.com and black book.
If you want to see the car during before auction, I can be available around Middletown, CT 06457 after 5pm. Car was serviced by Mark at Northeast Motor Works in Middletown. If you want to get it inspected there, It can be arranged too at your expense.
