1974 BMW 2002 SUPERCHARGED - Custom Build Description
This is a factory sunroof car and the flares are all steel. The body is solid with no rust. New early bumpers with shortened front bumper brackets, a new windshield, all new rubber gaskets throughout car, and all new bright trim have been added. Wheels are imported MiniLites. These modifications make the car truly unique and the seller has gone to great lengths to keep the ride, handling, and character true to the 2002 model.
A one-piece non-tii dash with no cracks was fitted to the interior, and a Momo Corse leather steering wheel was added. Recaro front seats were reupholstered with custom black fabric, and the rear bench seat was rebuilt with no horsehair and matching custom black fabric. Matching black fabric door panels, quarter panels, and package shelf were also custom made. Custom black carpet was installed. An E30 325iX interior rear view mirror with built-in map lights was installed, and a custom made instrument cluster with AutoMeter Phantom white face gauges (tachometer, speedometer, water temp. & fuel gauge) was added in place of the stock set-up. A black anodized aluminum console with volt meter, oil temp. & oil pressure AutoMeter Phantom white face gauges was built, and a Blaupunkt CD stereo, hazard switch and misc. rocker switches for fuel pump, aux. fan, etc. also reside there. An additional instrument pod was also added on the dash with matching boost pressure and fuel/air ratio gauges.
