2001 BMW 5-Series 525I Description

2001 BMW 525, 142,170 miles runs good but "check engine" light is on . Code is PO727 . Replaced engine speed senso, car ran great for a few day, then the light came back o, same code. License is expire, but it is NON-OPED so NO back fees . Paint is a little faded and cracked in places. A/C is cool but not cold. Title in hand . Just don't have the patience to try and figure it out.
