This car was returned to BMW for a non-conformity with the warranty (idle control). BMW graciously repurchased the car from the owner and corrected the issues on the car by simply updating the idle RPM to specified value across all perimeters. BMW will very commonly repurchase cars to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Most importantly, BMW gives the new owner a 12 month or 12000 mile warranty on the repaired item to insure you the problem has been corrected and they are standing behind their product.
