2006 BMW 5-Series 525i Description

The time has come for me to part with my beloved and rare 2006 BMW 5 Series. I bought it pre-owned in 2012 with 56000 miles, it now has around 113000. This car features a naturally aspirated 3.0L inline-6 with 215 HP, and a slick 6 speed manual transmission. While it is no rocket ship, brisk, smooth, and predictable are the best ways to describe the driving characteristics of this car. The clutch is very easy to use, not too light, not too heavy and the shifter throws are long but precise and smooth. As it is my only car and will likely have somewhere north of 113000 miles when it finds its new owner. I drive about 30 miles per day. The car is rare in that it is rear wheel drive, with a six speed manual. The car has a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats. retractable headlamp washers, Bluetooth, voice control, Navigation, split folding rear seats, a spare tire, dynamic xenon headlamps, power side view mirrors with puddle lamps. The car was in a minor accident a few years ago but was repaired and repainted by a professional body shop. There is slight damage on the rear driver side bumper and the front drivers side. Both incidents occurred in a parking lot. This car is priced aggressively and priced to go quickly! It is rare to find a 5 series that is as well equipped as this one and paired to a silky smooth BMW manual transmission. This car served me well and I hope it will make the next owner very happy. I am in Nassau County and I am available Tuesday's throughout the day, Thursday evenings, Friday evenings and most weekends if you would like to see and possibly test drive the vehicle. Due to my busy work schedule I am mostly available during the evenings. The new owner would ultimately be responsible for DMV, state/local taxes, and shipping of the vehicle if need be. This car is being sold as is with no warranties.
