2006 BMW 3-Series ZHP Package Description

You are looking at one of the cleanest 2006 BMW E46 convertibles around. The car is loaded and has all available options including the rare ZHP performance package. Even though it is 11 years old, it turns heads every day. Only 3000 of these were cars were produced for the US market, and most were coupes not convertibles.

The package includes the following upgrades over a stock 330CiC.

• Engine modifications that equal a gain of 10HP & 8 ft/lb of torque by reprogramming the Digital Motor Electronics to allow a 6800 RPM max (up from 6500).

• 3.07:1 Final drive ratio w/ manual trans instead of the standard 2.93:1. Convertibles retained the already installed 3.07 ratio.

• Max Speed Limiter set to 155 mph (instead of 128)

• New M suspension, more "sporty" than standard or poor road package.

• Firmer shocks (Jounce: front +50%, rear +20%), (Rebound: front +35%, rear -8%)

• Smaller diameter anti-roll bars: 23.5 mm front (v. 24mm pre-04/01 ZSP), 18mm rear (v. 19mm pre-04/01 ZSP)

• More rigid forward bushings

• ZHP control arms are different and use a stiffer ball joint

• Lower ride height by 15 mm (.6 inches) utilizing shorter auxiliary springs

• Exterior trim elements (front & rear fascia, trunk lid spoiler)

• Special exterior trim: Anthracite (charcoal) headlight surrounds, High-Gloss

• Large diameter stainless steel dual exhaust outlets

• Extra thick M3 perforated leather steering wheel

• M3 power leather sport seats in premium package

• Choice of "Black Cube" or "Silver Cube" interior trim

• Red needles on the instrument cluster

• M3 Style 135's are added, 18x8.0" front, 18x8.5" rear

• Wider Tires: 225/40ZR-18 in front and 255/35ZR-18 in the rear.

• Reduced steering rack ratio. 13.7:1 versus 15.5:1

Everything on the car works. The power top is in exellent shape and does not leak. It also had a factory bluetooth interface for your cellphone. I installed a Bavauto Ipod adapter. It plays the music from your ipod or iphone through the factory Harmon Cardon stereo. Bi-xenon headlights and rear parking sensors complete the factory option list. Also included is a factory wind screen to keep your hair from getting messed up with the top down.

I have two keys and the original owners manuals. The ZHP has a clean Carfax and I have the title in hand so you can drive it home immediately.
