Thanks for looking at our auction. This vehicle has been described to the best of our ability trying to describe/state all we know and observed about this vehicle. We are however not qualified mechanics and there may be other defects present which are not apparent to us at this time. This is a good running 2006 BMW X3 with the 3.0L engine. I have driven this car for a few days in town and on the highway and it does run well. General Condition: We would rate this vehicle 3 on a scale of 1-5. A vehicle rating of 3 would generally mean: Grade 3 – Normal wear and tear Specific Vehicle Condition: The exterior and interior show some wear and tear consistent with the year and mileage. The leatherette seats show only slight wear and the carpets are clean, stain free and have no rips or tears. . Please look at all the pictures in detail as they are an important part of the listing. The engine starts first time and idles smoothly. The transmission engages and shifts well also. The vehicle seems to be in good mechanical condition. Electrical components and accessories have been tested and checked out ok. These include: power windows door locks sun roof air conditioner radio cruise control power mirrors power seats The vehicle has 4 matching Continental tires with more than 60% life left. DEFECTS: AWD The 4x4 light is on. There is a clunking sound from the left rear side of the car where the transfer case is located. This noise is present only when accelerating hard. Because the 4x4 light is on, I think its an issue with the AWD transfer case. I have googled this and found its a common issue with BMW X3's. This however does not affect the functionality of the car as it drives smooth and quietly once up to speed. CEL The check engine light was on. I scanned the car and got codes P0171 & P0174. I cleared the codes and have driven the car another 100 miles. The CEL has not come back on yet. SUNROOF The sliding cover of the panoramic sunroof is missing. Rear Door The passenger side rear door inside handle is broken. The door will open from the outside only. I have stated these defects noted so that potential buyers have all the information needed to make a decision. I am asking $4295 for the car. All reasonable offers welcome. 1. Before You Bid

1.1. Read the and Ask Questions. I spend a lot of time creating my listings, and I make every effort to thoroughly, accurately and fairly describe the vehicles I offer. If you have a specific question or concern, or if I missed something, please feel free to ask. Please keep in mind that I sell pre-owned vehicles. As with any pre-owned vehicle, minor cosmetic flaws may be visible under close inspection. In addition, the vehicle may need routine maintenance items such as oil and fluid changes, brake pads and rotors etc not specifically called out. As with all used vehicles, there may be defects that have not yet manifested or were not obvious at the time of listing.

1.2. Inspect the Vehicle. I encourage you to inspect the vehicle personally or through an inspection service prior to bidding. If you would like to inspect the vehicle, please call to make arrangements.

1.3. Be Aware That Vehicles Are Offered As Is/No Warranty Unless Stated. Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, the vehicle is being sold “as-is”, with no warranty. I try to accurately and fairly describe any known mechanical or cosmetic issues. However, as with any vehicle, mechanical or other failures may occur from time to time, and I cannot represent or warranty that they will not. You are responsible for any repairs made after the sale.

1.4. Mileage May Vary Slightly. I indicate the mileage of each vehicle at the time of listing. Please note that actual mileage may be slightly higher at the time of the end of the auction and/or delivery as the vehicle may be driven while the auction is underway.

2. Bidding on the Vehicle

2.1. Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me the seller and to other bidders who may want the vehicle. It also wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids at my discretion.

2.2. End An Auction Early. "Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end my auctions early. However, I reserve the right to end any auction without notice at any time for any reason in my sole discretion.

3. Completing the Transaction

3.1. Contact Me. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. Many of my auctions end well after normal business hours, so sending me a message through eBay is generally the best way.

3.2. Pay a Deposit. You will be sent an invoice for the deposit amount of $300 immediately the auction ends. The deposit must be paid within 24hrs.

3.3. Pay the Balance Due. You must pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes – please see 3.5, below) within 3 days after the end of the auction. Failure to pay the remaining balance within the stipulated time will cancel the transaction and deposit paid is forfeited.

3.4. Payment Methods. I accept wire transfers, cashier's checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only). All funds must be in US dollars.

3.5. Fees and Taxes.

3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $100 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. No exceptions will be made.

3.5.2. Sales Tax.

Buyers is responsible for paying alland any state taxes due.

3.5.3. Tag & Title.

I will provide you with the vehicle's title if available at the time of sale. Most vehicles I sell have the title ready at the time of sale. In some cases, the title may be in transit or not ready. You are however guaranteed a clean and clear title within 21days of the sale. You will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state.

3.6. Exchange Documents and Signatures. There are, unfortunately, paperwork requirements for completing the transaction, which vary depending on whether you are from out-of-state or not. These will be discussed when you contact me initially.

3.7. If You Fail to Pay or Communicate with Me. I expect the transaction to go smoothly. However, if you fail to (i) make contact with me, (ii) pay the deposit, (iii) provide me with required signatures/documents, or (iv) pay the remaining balance (including applicable fees, taxes, and charges), within the timeframes set forth herein, I reserve the right to keep your deposit and re-list the vehicle or otherwise sell it as I see fit, without notice, at my sole discretion. I also reserve the right to report the issue to eBay as I deem fit.

4. Take Delivery of Your New Vehicle

4.1. Shipping. It is frequently less expensive to have a vehicle shipped to your location than it is to fly in and drive it back, and certainly more hassle-free. I can assist you in finding a shipper and can get very competitive shipping quotes. You pay the shipper directly and are responsible for delivery arrangements. I assume no responsibility for damage to the vehicle incurred after it leaves my premises. Your vehicle will be available to ship out once full payment is received and has cleared; I send out titles once payment has cleared and all other paperwork requirements of the transaction are completed.

Please note: Buyers and/or their shippers van take delivery of vehicles on FRI, SAT & SUN only except by prior arrangement.

4.2. Pick Up. I am located in Winder GA which is approximately 55 miles NE of the Atlanta airport. Please contact me to make arrangements to pick the vehicle up. Vehicles are available for drive-off once full payment and all paperwork requirements are completed

Fees and Taxes

Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license but are responsible for the documentation fee. The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state. You will receive 30-day in-transit tags.
