Its excellent handling and 5-second 0-60 makes it an pleasure to drive. As one of BMW's introductory diesel models in the US, it shares the same engine as the X5d SUV, making this compact sedan somewhat of a "freak". It has since been discontinued and replaced with the 328d which features a smaller four cylinder engine intended for increased fuel economy, but with decreased performance. It is truly a wolf in sheep's clothing!
