Overall, this 2001 car is in good solid shape. At 96,500 miles, this BMW has lots more life left.
Engine and Mechanical:
Engine is solid. Never any issues. Shifts smooth and rides great. Does not burn oil. The car makes a slight jingle-type sound when put in reverse to back up. I had a BMW mechanic look at it. He said it wasn't worth worrying about. Not sure why it makes the sound, but it is only a slight sound and does not affect the shifting or driving of the car. Again, the car runs great and shifts smooth.
Inside
Inside is very clean and in good shape. No rips, tears, or holes. Not aware of any stains. No funny smells and I am a non smoker. Everything works (lights, windows, radio, cruise, etc).
Outside
Outside is good overall condition. No visible rust to the body (I have never inspected underneath and have never been told there is rust there by a mechanic). I have owned this car in Virginia and Texas, so it has seen very little in the way of winter and certainly no salt. There are some small cosmetic issues to the front bumper, mostly to the passenger side. See pictures for details.
Recent Repairs
In 2016, the following repairs were done by a BMW certified mechanic/shop: [1] new Pirelli tires; [2] new radiator; [3] new water pump; [4] new oxygen sensor; [5] new front rotors & brakes; and [6] brake fluid flush.
Car is sold as is. No representations or warranties.
