2004 BMW 3-Series Convertible Description

Included Options: Black soft top, Bluetooth Module, Heated Front Seats, Navigation, Premium Package, Sport Package, Xenon Headlights, 6-Disc CD Changer.

I bought this car as a Certified Pre-Owned BMW in Connecticut in May of 2007. At that time it had 35,108 miles on it. I understand that prior to my ownership, it was operated in NJ. I have now owned it for nearly 10 years and it has been relatively hassle free. I have performed regular maintenance and in return the car has given me a lot of enjoyment. I am now selling it simply because I purchased a new one and need the garage space.

Everything on the car is BMW original. I have not changed anything, with one exception. I replaced the BMW Assist module with the BMW OEM Bluetooth module. The car was prewired for it and was manufactured right when bluetooth was becoming important. So it would be one of the rare few 2004 models that have Bluetooth (works fine with my iPhone 7) and allow for voice commands to the car’s equipment such as the radio. Also of note is it has the factory 6-disc CD changer in the trunk. I understand this can be replaced with an iPod unit, but I did not look further into to confirm. I have the original removed BMW Assist module I can send along if you like (though I understand it is being made technologically obsolete).

Maintenance that has been performed over time include: control arms and bushings, brakes, starter replaced, battery replaced and regular oil & filter changes. The maintenance records are available for review/confirmation. I do not know of any mechanical issue that requires attention at this time (and it was looked over by a mechanic approximately 2k miles ago). In my opinion, it is on overall good condition, especially when considering its age. It has been washed and waxed regularly and spent the last 4 winters garaged, but it does have small cosmetic scratches and blemishes in line with its age. The tires areMichelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 225/45ZR17 & 245/40ZR17and have approximately 7k miles on them.
