1999 BMW M Roadster & Coupe Description

1999 BMW M Roadster 3.2L (S52) inCosmos Black Metallic over Kyalami Orange and Black Nappa
In 1998, BMW introduced their flagship roadster of the Z3 line; the M roadster. A brilliant celebration of BMW's legendary sports car heritage; pure power... served manual-only. Slip behind the wheel of an M roadster and transport yourself back to an era of sports cars that melded elemental tenets of racing tradition with modern-day luxury in perfect harmony. BMW discontinued the Z3 line in 2002; enter the era of automanual and the turbocharged 4 cylinder...
If you're looking for an upgrade from your Z3 or other similar roadster or if you're ready for your first sports car, the M roadster won't disappoint. If you're anything like me, you're getting tired of ad after ad of black/black, silver/black, blue/black color combinations... etc....
Well, look no further. The Cosmos Black/Kyalami Orange color combination is one of the hottest ever produced and among the rarest with only 17 ever built; 9 in the 1999 model year. This low mileage roadster is in great condition both mechanically and cosmetically.
Structurally solid. Powerful. Smooth transmission. Tight handling. Strong brakes. Good tires.
Minimal exterior cosmetic issues. No major dents or scratches. The largest dent is in the driver's side door (see pictures) and could likely easily be repaired if desired.
Minimal interior cosmetic issues. Mild wear is seen on the door-side of the drivers seat.
Multiple upgrades include:-- Subframe Reinforcement (Randy Forbes)-- OEM Chrome Roadstar wheels-- Kenwood stereo with single disc player, USB outlet, auxillary outlet, Sirius support, Pandora, and Bluetooth phone connectivity.-- Upgraded door and footwell speakers-- LeatherZ Mark2 Armrest-- Back-lit shifter (has the same OEM M 1-5 emblem but with backlighting)
In the interest of full disclosure, I want potential buyers to know that I have owned this roadster for only a brief period of time and am choosing to sell it for reasons that I am happy to discuss via private message. My decision has nothing to do with the roadster itself. I am extremely satisfied with it and will be sad to see it go!
Please contact me with any questions. I have both AutoCheck and CarFax reports available for interested buyers.
