1998 BMW M3 Description

1998 BMW M3 four door with a manual 5 speed transmission and71,972 miles.The car is in amazing condition in and out and mechanically.In 2005 the car was hit in the rear and was repaired extremely well but it does have a rebuilt/salvage title.The car is in excellent condition in and out.It has had only 3 owners. The first owner had the car until 2004 when it was hit. The second owner repaired the car thoroughly for over 4 years and never drove it. The last 3rd owner has had the car since 2009 to have in his collection of BMW’s and rarely drove the car. It was always garaged and never used during bad weather.It has a current NY rebuilt title and current inspection.Under the hood, inside the wheel wells, and underneath the car are spotless and in meticulous condition.

The car is Arktissilber metallic with a black Interior. The exterior has been repainted during the repair but was done quite well. The front fenders and all 4 doors are original to the car and still have the VIN# on each one. There is a small chip on the passenger rear door and a scratch below the driver door handle. There are 2 chips above the passenger front turn signal, and one real small chip on the roof. Finally there is a small scuff next to the driver front turn signal.All have been treated and touched up and can barely be seen but I wish to disclose all flaws. The interior is in excellent shape with only a little wear on the front seats. The passenger side outer bolster has a half an inch cut in it. This car is equipped with fully functioning climate control with both heat and Air conditioning working well along with the heated seats.Sunroof works well, all lights are working, and has an after marketJVC head unit with all modern inputs for Iphone and Ipod. One rear speaker is acting a little funny. Headliner, carpets, and door panels are in great shape. There is an airbag light on currently but no check engine lights. It is equipped with 4 excellent condition Goodyear Eagle Sport being 225/45r17 front and 245/40/17 rear on stock M3 wheels. It has a full size M3 spare wheel and most of the tools are in the tool kit. Some of the wheels have some scratching and light curb rash. The brakes are stock M3 units with new german made Zimmerman rotors and Jurid pads front and rear.

This M3 does have a few performance upgrades. It has a Bavarian Autosport Bilstein suspension with Bavarian Autosport springs. It also has a 26mm Eibach front sway bar and a 24mm Eibach rear sway bar. It has a Racing Dynamics front strut tie bar and a Bavarian Autosport rear shock tie bar. Finally it has adjustable rear lower control arms. The car has a DINAN rear muffler but stock exhaust with catalysts. It does have an aftermarket air filter system and a rebuilt shifter with a shorter throw kit installed. It does have a stock ecu with NO performance chip installed so there is potential for a performance increase. Additionally it has smoked clear turn signals, side marker lights, and tail lights to complete an amazing look. This is an excellent example of a decent mileage E36 M3 that runs and drives great. I understand that having a rebuilt title will affect the price of the car compared to a clear title car and the reserve will reflect that.
