1998 BMW 3-Series Base Convertible 2-Door Description

Up for auction is a 1998 BMW Convertible. It has 216,000 miles. It has a new convertible top with in the last year and the body has a few minor blemishes. Mechanically this vehicle will need the head gasket replaced.This vehicle ran excellent before the head gasket went out. I believe the culprit was a plastic piece broke off of the thermostat and caused the thermostat to shut and by the the time it was notice it had gotten hot and cause the head gasket to go out. Other than that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. It may need the weather stripping around the top of the windows replaced soon. This is an as is sale so please bid accordingly.
