2005 BMW 3-Series 325Ci Coupe Description
FOR SALE: My beloved and excellently cared for2005 BMW 325Ci Coupe
DESCRIPTION: Super sporty coupe!Quick, quiet, and smooth as silk.Original MSRP was $39k. (I still have the window sticker)Fully-loaded withSport package, Premium Package,Power sportseats with lumbar control, Cold weather package,Moon roof, Real wood trim, Chrome double exhaust (looks great and a very rare option), Dynamic stability control, Automatic headlights, Rain sensing wipers, and Bluetooth connect. Has every option available except fornavigation.
CONDITION: In a word: Excellent. Drives like new. Motor is strong and quiet, no squeaks or rattles, everything works as it should. Interior seems much younger than the age of the car. No rips or tears.Climate control is amazing...gets VERY cold in the summer, and VERY hot in the winter. Exterior paint is very glossy with only a small scratch on the hood. (It's so minor you cannot even see it in my photos.) Otherwise thereare very few dings, scrapes, etc.Headliner is starting to peel away near rear window but has been temporarily repaired.(You may want a more permanent solution or just leave it as-is. IfI were keeping the car, I'd leave it.)Tire tread is fine, but small cracks are apparent due to age and exposure. I would probably replace them within 5k more miles.
SERVICE HISTORY/MECHANICAL: Car has been very well maintained with no issues left unattended. The front and rear bumpers were replaced due to very minor fender-benders.(The rearbumper was just done.Probably a blessing in disguise, because the old one had a few scratches and now it's brand new.) Well-documented service history. Brakes were replaced at 34k miles. Passenger airbag was replaced (but never deployed) due to a factory recall.Synthetic oil changes were made every 5000 miles.New battery was purchased in May of 2016. I have documentation for all work done.
OWNER HISTORY: I am the vehicle's originalowner. More than half of the 43k miles have been driven on the highway. It was kept in a garage from '05-'10, and has since lived in my in-laws' suburban driveway in CT andreally only driven on weekends.I've been very meticulous about maintaining the look and condition of this car, and thatwill beapparent when you see it. Also, I'm a pretty benign driver, and did notpush the car hard very often.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE CAR: Itpurrs like a kitten. You will reach 80 mph on the highway and think you're going 40.With the windows down and sunroof openit feels like a convertible, but in the winteryou'll appreciate the warmthof the hard top and on the highway you'll appreciate the quiet. There are three driving modes: Drive (for everyday driving), Sport (which enhances shifting for maximum acceleration) and Manual (which allows you toshift manually...but without a clutch.) This flexibility allows you to cruise with ease or drive with purpose depending on which you prefer. Finally, the17in sport tires, sport rims, chrome tailpipes, and chrome trim matched with the high gloss black paint really give the car an aggressive look.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE: ThatI'm selling it!Jokes aside, thetire pressure monitoring system can falselyindicate a punctured tire when in fact the tire pressure ismerely low. Often occursdue to onset of cold weather. If you're using a smartphone device for directions, there's no obvious place to put the phone. (not a lot of flat surfaces in the cockpit) But otherwise I have very few complaints. It's been my baby for a long time and I hate to get rid of it.
REASON FOR SELLING:My growing family.I bought the car as a single guy but now am married withtwo small kids who are both in car seats. A two door coupeis justno longer practical.I'd love to keep it but we don't have the space for it.
SALE TERMS: Bonus offer...I will throw in a Garmin navigation system for free to the winning buyer! (We all use our phones now, but the Garmin has a window suction cup that is very useful and safe.) Reserve price is $8,999, which I believe is fair given the condition of the vehicle, the low mileage, and the prices I've seen for similar units. $500 deposit due w/n 48 hours of auction end or it re-lists. Final payment due in cash or cashier's check.Vehicle is in Greenwich, CT. I will be as accommodating as I can for a long distance buyer, but would prefer someone local.
BOTTOM LINE: This is A LOT of car for the money. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
