1995 BMW M5 Description

The car for sale here has been in the family since 1997 but it's time to let it go to another enthusiast.It is 20 years old so it is not in as-new condition.However, while the driver's seat needs recovering and it needs a new gearshift boot, it has the original cigarette lighter and a nearly complete tool kit.Front and rear floor mats have been in place since the car was new so the original carpet under them is unworn. Some of the plastic components have faded or cracked so they could use replacing. Paint is in very good condition. This car has been driven and stored in AZ and is completely rust-free. 195K miles.

Regular maintenance done by independent shop that closed earlier this year when owner retired.Major mechanical work includes: new radiator at 88k miles; short block 116k; alternator 128k; fuel pump, suspension struts and rotors 136k; sway bar and ball joints 155k; power steering/suspension pump and ABS sensor 156k.A new (not rebuilt) BMW short block was installed at 116k due to cylinder damage by sulfur in fuel so there are only 80k miles on the engine.
