1997 BMW 7-Series Burlwood Description

A very well cared for e38 model 740il , all original OEM parts and no modifications. Rare Vermont green with parchment leather interior.

I am a private seller and second owner of this extremely nice BMW. This car runs and drives great with awesome performance and handling for a large sedan. I bought the car 2.5 years ago from the original local owner and have driven 21,000 pleasurable miles . The car looks very nice both inside and out for a car that’s 20 years old. To my knowledge, no one has ever smoked in the car.

The car runs and drives like new with plenty of power and great mileage for a large sedan. It gets 25MPG on the highway and about 19MPG when averaging highway and city driving. The motor runs great, transmission shifts as new, the car runs cool, the AC blows ice cold and in general the car is very tight and solid. The ride is super smooth, quie, and luxurious. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.

If the car were in perfect condition, it’s value would be at least double what the opening bid is for this auction. The exterior is in nice overall condition with the exception of some oxidation on the roof and hood and a small ding on the driver’s side fender wheel skirt (see pics). The rear window shade is non-op and some pixels are out on the audio display. Dashboard and climate control unit pixels are all good. repair on any of these items is optional, easy to d, and inexpensive. The interior of the car is also in very good condition as you can see in the pictures with minimal wear and no stains or tears. Interior carpet is clean and 4 new matching floormats have just been installed. New tires with 4 wheel alignment in December. Fresh full synththetic oil every 3500 miles. Included are the original footrests, owner’s manual, and new-owner audio orientation program.
