2003 BMW Z8 ALPINA Description

The Z8 is a BMW styling triumph. With beautiful, flowing, muscular lines and a drop top, this convertible was an instant classic. And when BMW shipped a small number of these cars to highly regarded Alpina for tuning, the Z8 Roadster was transformed into a road devouring GT car.
This example, number 529 of 555 has been beautifully kept. From the immaculate silver hard top to the original tool kit with the gloves included to the untouched first-aid kit (this surgeon owner did not do triage from his trunk!), this car is beautiful and complete. A no-expense-spared hi-fi audio system was installed as Alpina seemed to focus most on driving dynamics and less on that particular accoutrement. Or, one can just listen to the remarkable growl of the exhaust when this 4.8L Alpina V8 is beckoned to life.
As one would expect, this car has been maintained flawlessly with service records available. Always garaged, never driven in the rain and even covered with a car cover when parked for short periods, this Alpina Z8 is impressive in many ways.
