2002 BMW X5 Description

This is a NO RESERVE auction, so the last bid wins!

The Good News: The car is being sold well under $ value, because I am now retired and will be relocating overseas and because it does needs some maintenance work when purchased to get it in top running condition. The car is located Florida and driven sparingly and has a clear car title. It is loaded with power options and everything works. It is clean, smoke free, and the interior leather seats look great as does the outside as can be seen in the pictures. For its 2002 age, it has only a few hardly noticeable minor exterior scuffs or scratches. It’s approximate black book value is between $4,500 to $5,500.

The Bad News:The service engine light has been on since I bought the car.A local BMW service center made a few repairs for me when I first bought the car, but it still needs a few more… specifically I have been told it needs a new radiator hose and engine mounts, that seem to cause the car to make a noise when starting up in the morning and occasionally (not all of the time) sputter as though it is not getting gas... both go away after a few minutes of driving.I was told by the BMW shop that these issues are related to what must be repaired at the approximate cost of $500-$600, depending on where the work is done. For the auto technicians who may bid, I’m sorry but I do not have the exact BMW codes. It also has a rear side window that does not work as well as a few other minor items typical of an older car that I chose not to repair when I bought the car since it did not matter to me.You should not bid on this car if not prepared to make some repairs to get it to top running condition. I would do so if not relocating.

Final Note: Before bidding, please read the information, look at pictures and ask feel free to ask me any questions you may have.A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the winning bid and full payment must be made within 3 days. Delivery is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Good luck to all bidders on this three day NO RESERVE auction.
