In January 2003, at the Los Angeles International Auto Show, BMW of North America introduced the330iPerformance Package, order code "ZHP." This was a trim level upgrade that included engine modifications for an increase of 10 hp and 8 lb/ft of torque and a redline increase to 6,800 rpm (from 6,500 rpm in the regular330i). The "ZHP" option also provided a 6-speed short-throw manual transmission, a higher final drive ratio and speed limiter setting, a suspension tuned for better handling, and various BMW "M" exterior trim elements as well as an interior similar to that of theM3. TheZHPpackage was available on mid-2003330isedans.
It has become a highly sought-after model due to its unique modifications. The subtle aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and deck spoiler only hint at the hardware beneath. The330CiZHP"M" Performance Package" boasts higher performance numbers with a track-tested0-60mphtime of 5.6 seconds and passed through the 1/4 mile in 14.2 seconds. The car's improved braking and handling are what's most dramatic. Braking from60-0mphis reduced to a mere109ft. The Convertible top motor is known to fail on these cars. When we received this car, the top was functioning very slowly. We replaced the unit and replaced the hydraulic fluid. Now the convertible top works flawlessly with no errors.

This car is in great shape;the body is clean and free of any major blemishes orscratches. It does have a series of small dings on the passenger side quarter panel. Like any used car there are various minor imperfections around the car from everyday driving. There are some very minor rock chips and scratches that are hardly noticeable. Most of these imperfections have been touched up with authentic BMW touch-up paint and are very difficult to see. The interior is in excellent shape and was obviously well-maintained by a non-smoker. The "ZHP"-specificBlack Aluminum cube trim is in great shape. The A/C blows strong and ice cold.
This330Ci ZHP Convertiblehas been to BMW and had the Airbag recall done for the new owner on 10/24/2016 at 39,730 miles.
